Gilbert Classical Academy PTO
About the Spartan Village
We are the parent-teacher organization for Gilbert Classical Academy — a community of families, educators, and supporters united around one mission: helping every Spartan thrive.
Our Mission
It takes a village to support our Spartans.
The GCA Parent Teacher Organization exists to strengthen the connection between GCA families and the school community. We support teachers and staff, fund enriching experiences for students, and create opportunities for parents to get involved in meaningful ways.
Whether you're cheering at Bread Bowl, volunteering at WinterFest, stocking the Uniform Closet, or simply staying informed through our newsletter — you are part of the village.
Community First
We build relationships between families, staff, and students that make GCA more than just a school.
Student Success
Every event, donation, and volunteer hour is ultimately in service of GCA students and their growth.
Staff Appreciation
We show up for our teachers and staff — because when they feel supported, everyone benefits.
Open Communication
We keep families informed and engaged through our newsletter, meetings, and social channels.

Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay dues to be part of the PTO?
No — there are no membership dues. The GCA Parent Teacher Organization is open to all GCA families. We welcome donations to support our programs, but participation is always free.
When and where do PTO meetings take place?
We hold four meetings per school year — two in person at GCA and two via Zoom. Dates are posted on the Events page and shared in our newsletter.
How can I get involved if I have a busy schedule?
There are options for every schedule. From one-time event volunteering to remote support like donations or newsletter help, we'll find a fit. Fill out the interest form on the Get Involved page.
How does the PTO use donated funds?
Donations go directly toward staff appreciation events, school traditions like Bread Bowl and WinterFest, the Uniform Closet, and other student-focused programs. Treasurer reports are available on the Newsletter & Resources page.
How do I contact the PTO board?
